Exodus is an ancient story of liberation. It’s a story of God working to rescue and redeem a people for himself, freeing them from bondage and leading them into the Promised Land. Exodus is a picture of the gospel. In Christ, we, too, are freed from captivity to sin and death and are led through the wilderness of life by God's Word and Spirit as we make our way to the Promised Land of the world to come.
